Pastor Al's Customs
Faith, Sci-fi, and everything inbetween
Welcome to My World

Computers are not my forte; however, the good looking woman is! :-) So, I left her picture here as I have not mastered how Shaw did this split screen thing..... doh!
(Pastor) Allan Howes, OM is a man of Universal Faith - 'we are all God's children':
"Just because they did not call the Almighty 'God' does not mean He did not intervene in their cultural and social development." Malachi 1:11 "People from one end of the world to the other honor Me." When God says this even 2500 years ago - I believe God knows what He is talking about.
"Today's science fiction is tomorrow's reality" (anonymous). Gene Roddenberry was a visionary who imparted the same values and hopes of a brighter future that I hold dear to my heart. "Star Wars" is good sci-fi but the cerebral, humanitarianism of Star Trek appeals to me more, so YES I AM A TREKKER, and 'The Religions of Star Trek' is a real college course that imparts Star Trek into the study of human religious beliefs - now, is that Klingon Warriors or Norse Vikings?
Favorite Science Fiction: Star Trek (all of them - the only thing wrong with Star Trek is there is not enough of it!), Enemy Mine, Star Wars (yes, they are all good), Predator, Terminator, Alien, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica (prefer original as new one is too soap opera), and Mork & Mindy - probably in just this order!
Favorite Foods: everything except the Mustard Family but I'll eat it if it is served. I love to cook and have done commercial baking and , what you learn while going to college to study premed, am a sous chef.
God, Trek, and food ... (oh, and chicks! :-)) ... yup, that pretty much covers it.
