Pastor Al's Customs

Hi, pastor cause I am; Al's because my daddy named me Allan; and Customs because my hobby is making (customizing in the fan world) the things I want and can't buy. Makes sense ... cool!

What do I preach? Primarily the Word of God as defined in the Greek Orthodox Bible - the most number of scriptural Books canonized and transcribed into English. I knew there had to be more than the Protestant versions and my thirst took me on a voyage through many texts of scripture and I settled on this version of the Bible.

Allan was born in rural Saskatchewan on Mother's Day 1958. I grew up on a cooperative farm ran by WWII veterans and their families. I went to school in the nearby town of 500 but have traveled most regions of western Canada from Toronto, Ontario to Vancouver, British Columbia - from Montana to the Northwest Territories.

Fascinated by man landing on the moon; "that's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind", to mesmerized by the starship Enterprise encountering alien races with a humanitarian heart. And the Vulcan was real cool too! "Data is logical by programming, Mr. Spock is complicated" (STComm.) Alas, not only was mankind breaking the surely bonds of Earth to reach out and touch the face of God ... I also got my stuck-on-me nickname ... Spock.

Not to plagerise on Dianne Duane but this could easily be titled "Spock's World" as this is my life - my walk with God on the lunatic fringe of science fiction.
